Frank Milton Eldridge passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at the age of 74. He was born in Somerville, Texas to John and Rose Eldridge. Shortly after graduating from high school, he left his small town life to join the United States Army. After his service in the military, he worked for Western Electric, which later became AT&T. While working full time and raising a family, he attended classes at night and graduated from the University of Houston in 1970. Throughout his working career he always made time for his family. He also enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and taking the family on camping trips to Yegua Creek, Lake Somerville and Lake Murvaul. Every year he looked forward to the Eldridge Family Reunion at Lake Somerville and playing wild games of 42 with the family. After retiring in 1990, he added a new hobby, gardening to his list. His garden was plentiful and he always shared his bounty with family and friends.
