Frank, which I called Fran was my ex brother inlaw.
The first time I met Fran I knew he was going to be a cool dude by his firm handshake and respect.
He had this kindness and laughter that made him the young man he was. 
He enjoyed listening to jokes and had few  of his own that where pretty hilarious.
The love, passion and  respect would
 one day filter down to his future kids and family.
Remembering Fran in our early years  hanging out shooting the breeze in Galveston beach listening to low rider music to tejano and good old classic rock.
I remember the 68 or 69 Challenger  he drove competing who made the coolest donuts against my 68 Grand Torino and other buddies sweet rides.
How sweet was that!!
The man was skilled at a young age and didnt take nothing for granted.
He worked hard and long hours become be a successful craftsman and one day fulfill his passion to be Certified Journalman Carpenter
Not just a carpenter but of several trades!
I remember Fran telling me one day when were shooting the breeze talking about work and he said one of his bosses told him
Work hard or Go Home!
So he never went home and grunted it out to be successful. The Capenter!
I believe the motto stuck with him as we all know. 
I truly believe our Messiah
 (The Carpenter) sent his angels to bring a carpenter to his beloved heavenly family.
Fran, thanks for all the memories we shared and for shooting the breeze bud.

At the time he drove a 68 or 69

Frank was such a great person and a hard worker for Houston Parks.   Me and my dad worked with him for many years and Frank always had a smile on him.   Our deepest condolences to the family.   

My thoughts and prayers are with the Carrera family during this most difficult time. Frank was a kind and gentle soul. It was a great pleasure knowing him.

The pictures I have seen posted here & social media show some awesome memories of him. We will continue praying for the family.

I didn't get a chance to meet Mr. Carrera but know his son Arthur.  I can definitely tell Mr. Frank left his legacy with Arthur.   Arthur is a hard working man and as genuine as they come.  The traits he has come from having a great father.  I know you'll be missed but you live on inside Arthur!

We thank GOD for all the years we were given with our dad. He molded all his kids to the men and women we are today.  He lives in us all and we will make him proud. I love you dad and will miss you so very much.

Dear Carrera Family – Our deepest sympathies on your sweet dad arriving at heaven’s gate! You are all so blessed to have such a warm and caring dad, grandfather, and great-grandfather as Frank. I have so many fun SoHo Little League memories! I feel blessed to know such a strong family who support each other emotionally and spiritually. Just know that all the love you showed him was symbolized through your actions. He is now at peace and his journey is complete.
