Frances Guerrero

Frances Guerrero, 74, of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 11th, 2023, with her husband by her bedside. Frances retired from the City of Houston after 24 years of service working in the Municipal Courts and received a Proclamation on February 26, 2010, for her years of service. Frances will be dearly missed and always remembered by her family, siblings, and friends.

Frances is preceded in death by her father Ray Sorola, her mother Lenora Sorola and sister Phyllis Garza.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Rafael, her son Mark and daughters Cindy and Melissa, as well as her five grandchildren, Matthew, Valerie, Garrett, Ciara, and Esabella. Her sister Carol Wixom and brothers Anthony Sorola, Phillip Sorola, and Lalo Cordova.

Frances requested a celebration of life be held in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Frances’ loved ones to join us in celebrating her life at Brookside Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039. The family will receive visitation on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a celebratory service to begin promptly at 2:00 PM in Brookside’s Grand Chapel.
