Floyd Nichols

Floyd Nichols was born in Madisonville, Texas on March 28, 1954, to Reade and Armstead Nichols. He was the fourth child of this union of six. Floyd was reared in Houston, Texas in the Clinton Park Community and attended Clinton Park Elementary and graduated from Furr High School. Floyd received Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Clinton Park Baptist Church.

Floyd was a very caring, loving, and kind individual. He loved everybody. His favorite sports were football and basketball.

Floyd is preceded in death by his father, Armstead Nichols; sister, Maurine Nichols; brothers, Armstead Nichols, Jr., and David Nichols.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Helen Nichols; daughter, Keymesha (MeMe) Batts; sons, Floyd A. Batts, Deeon Batts, Kevin Batts; his sister, Vera Hadnot; his only brother, Lee Otis Nichols; grandchildren, Courtney, Taylor, Alanah, Sean, Diamond and Mia; his mother, Mrs. Reade Jackson; nephew, Tony Hadnot, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, Aunt Ruby; Uncle Robert and other relatives.
