Florian Stolarski, 89, was born on April 19, 1929 in Chappell Hill, Texas and died on Friday, January 25, 2019. He was a Houston area entrepreneur and business man for nearly 70 years most notably in the grocery, dance hall, ready-mix concrete, and charitable bingo industries. He founded Florian’s Finer Foods and Dance Town USA. He was a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and a Knight of Columbus.
He is preceded in death by his wife Agnes Kmiec Stolarski, son David Stolarski, parents Tom and Theresa Stolarski, brother Tommie Stolarski, and sister Dorothy Cegelski.
He is survived by: daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Richard Wisnoski, sons and daughter-in-laws, Robert and Karen Stolarski, Joel and Percilla Stolarski, and Michael and Cheryl Stolarski. Grandchildren: Kyle and Paislea Stolarski, Valerie and Frank Altamuro, Vanessa Wisnoski, Kevin Stolarski, and Jennifer and David Romano. Great-grandchildren: Everett Stolarski and Paris, David, and Shaila Romano. Sister and brother-in-law: Cathy and Billy Polasek. Florian had many nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, friends, and neighbors.
Florian’s family will receive visitors on Tuesday January 29 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church 3600 Brinkman Houston, TX 77018. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday January 30 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.

Our dear father and grandpa will be greatly missed, but we are comforted knowing that he is at peace and is going home to the Father in Heaven.
