Florence Anne Wright, long-time resident of Houston was born on April 14, 1915 in St. Louis Mo. On July 23, 2015, at the age of 100, Florence went peacefully to be with our Lord. She was preceded in death by grandson Wayne A. Wright Jr. and her loving husband of 58 years Wayne W. Wright.
She is survived by two sons Dennis Wright, Wayne A. Wright and wife Sharon; Grandchildren Jeffrey Wright, Christopher Wright and wife Shannon; great-grandchildren Morgan,
Cooper and Gunner Wright, along with other relatives and friends.
Florence lived a long and beautiful life, a century of history and cherished memories which she loved sharing with her family. She also enjoyed bingo, knitting and playing cards. She touched the lives of many through the years and will be greatly missed by everyone.
Due to the nature of Florence’s illness, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers - donations can be made to Houston Hospice or The Alzheimer’s Association in her name.
