Fern E Watkins

Fern was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma on Wednesday, December 30, 1925. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She loved to dance, sew and the adventure of finding many treasures at garage sales through the years. Above all else she loved her family and the time she was able to spend with each of them. She is deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.

Fern is survived by 2 sons, Kenneth Eugene Barnett and wife Linda, Terry Leonard Barnett and wife Mary; 6 grandchildren, Kenneth Shane Barnett, Anthony Scott Barnett and wife Pam, Jennifer Barnett McCarter, Terri Noelle DeLeon and husband Al, Stephanie Jean Ruiz and Jessica Dillon Thompson, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren, 2 sisters Barbara Rivers Scott and Sharon Pierson. She is preceded in death by her parents Watt and Nora Rivers, brother Kenneth Rivers, husband James Watkins and son Randy Lynn Barnett.

A graveside service for Fern will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079.
