Fali's presence in the world is missed by many.  I think about him often.  I have so many fond memories of him.  He was a one-of-a-kind person.  I am so happy to have known him and his family.

Fali Engineer has been a gifted teacher of the Perennial Wisdom traditions in Theosophy for over 42 years.  He organized, during a 20 year period, numerous Theosophical Lodges throughout Pakistan.  Also, as an adept and experienced teacher of Transcendental Meditation(TM), Fali, initially, was its only teacher and organized the TM movement in Pakistan.  During his 12 year tenure as Pakistan's first National Leader, Fali taught thousands of his countrymen these techniques for mitigating stress and accessing one’s infinite potential within by stilling the noisy, conscious mind.  He came to America and as a U.S. citizen organized and taught universally recognized meditation procedures to thousands of people in Texas, Louisiana, Colorado and even Mexico.  

This beloved spiritual teacher, organizer and leader served three years as Treasurer and for seven years as President of the Houston Lodge of the Theosophical Society where his lectures were well-attended.  Adding to all this, Fali was also a loving husband and father and helped raise exceptional and talented children.  He delighted his many friends, students, and family with his wisdom and wit.  His frequent emails covered subjects that had moral merit, were informative or that were amusing, bringing smiles to our faces.

Fali was with us long enough to celebrate his 95th birthday, which I attended along with his many friends and family.  I thank him for his contributions to the world and to those fortunate enough to know him and benefit from his knowledge and advice.  Fali didn’t just give advice as he was interested in what you had to say as well.  He was a true friend and mentor who was always available when called upon or needed.  His was truly a life well-lived!

Dear Family of Fali,

         It's been many years since I was in contact with Fali and
I've just heard of his passing.  We had many great Yoga adventures
together with much joy and laughter.  Fali lovingly touched so
many lives, including mine.  His Great Light will shine forever for 
he is truly a Mahatma.  Love and Peace to you all.

Fali was a Master. He was wise and I attended many of his lectures at The Theosophical Society Houston Lodge. May memories of your dear one be a blessing! 

For my dear friend (and family member) Mr.  Jimmy Engineer, whose father Mr. Fali Engineer sadly passed away: Jimmy bhai, I know how close you were to your father and I can sense the pain you are passing though. Your father was an inspiration to many, some known to him and many not known to him. His was a master of transcendental meditation and freely shared his learning with anyone who reached out to him. Fali sahab had thousands of followers who will miss him deeply, he inspired his followers and he was a healer for many.  Nature has a way of looking after people who give to others, I am sure your father is being well looked after as I write these words. May Allah bless his soul and give you and your family the strength to deal with this irreplaceable loss. God bless you, Mr. Fali Engineer’s family, followers and loved ones - all of you worked hard to look after your father in his late years. 

Fali was such a wonderful and wise friend and teacher, a practicing Theosophist; a beautiful soul. I will miss being able to talk to him when I have a question about an esoteric or metaphysical subject or about anything in life.  I will miss his sense of humor and his encouragement.
