Fabian R. Nowak went to be with his Lord and Savor on November 16, 2022. Fabian was born in Chappell Hill, TX to parents Chester L. Nowak and Martha P. Hoffman. He graduated from Brenham High School and attended Massey Business College. He resided at his residence, Woodland Heights for over a half century. Fabian loved history and historical events. He served in the U.S. Army as office clerk. He worked a few years at Foley’s. Then he spent 25 years at the Houston Post and 10 years at the Houston Chronicle as a printer before retiring.
Fabian is preceded in death by his parents. His brothers; Alvin and Leonard, sister-in-law Mary and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews survive him.
A visitation for Fabian will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heights Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM. The funeral service is scheduled for Friday, November 25, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4419 North Main St., Houston, Texas 77009. Committal service will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Rd., Houston, Texas 77077.
In lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Christ The King Church or the Food pantry at Christ The King Church.
