Everett Max “Bud” Allison, 69, passed away on April 6th, 2017 in Houston, TX at the age of 69. He was born on September 17th, 1947 in Houston , TX. “Bud” started out as a transport driver for Exxon and worked his way up, retiring after 38 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on cars and tractors. He also loved farming and raising animals. He loved a good John Wayne or Clint Eastwood movie. “Bud” also loved a good joke, and is well known for his pranks.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Ida Allison; his two sisters, Elizabeth Ann Allison and Maxine Waits, as well as his brother Charles Oren Allison.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara Ann Allison; his daughters, Deborah Hayes and Rhonda Hijazi and her husband Jamal. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Chad Hayes, Brittany Hipp, Christopher Hipp, Lena Hijazi, Adam Hijazi, and Salim Hijazi , as well as four great-grandchildren, Evelyn Hijazi, Natasha Hijazi, Ethan Hijazi, and Jaxon Hijazi. He is also survived by many other beloved relatives and friends, including his pet Tweety Bird, who he loved to aggravate.
A visitation will be held for “Bud” at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery located along the North Freeway in Houston, TX on Tuesday, April 11th, from 5pm to 8pm. His funeral will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, April 12th, also at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. Flowers are welcome.
