Mrs. Eva Myrl Wamble

Eva was the oldest of 5 girls. She graduated from Galena Park High School in 1959. She married Weldon Ray Wamble on December 22, 1961. Eva had two children Floyd Ray Wamble and Brenda Jo Massey (deceased). She worked in food service for the Aldine School District and North Harris County College for 17 years. Eva was very active as a facilitator in the Bridges to Life program for 15 years. Eva also had her own Prison Ministry for years she corresponded and made visits with many inmates of the TDCJ system. Eva had a great love of God, nature, and enjoyed traveling and camping. Eva and Weldon enjoyed serving as volunteers for Park Host at Mother Neff State Park and they did this for several years.

Eva was preceded in death by her daughter Brenda Jo Massey and sister Elsie Cockrel. She is survived by her husband Weldon Ray Wamble; her son Floyd Ray Wamble and Derwin Madden; three adopted daughters Debra Cremeam, Shelly Nathan, and Vicki Semander; three sisters Mary Green, Shirley Setzer, and Judy Lairson. Eva is also survived by numerous granddaughters, grandsons, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

A visitation for Eva will be held Friday, May 31, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A funeral service will occur Friday, May 31, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A committal service will occur Friday, May 31, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
