Eugenia "Genia" Jozwiak

81, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2011. She was born August 17, 1930, in Chappell Hill, Texas, and moved to Houston in 1948. She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church and St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Isidore “Pluto” Jozwiak. Also by her father, Tony, her mother Josephine, along with her brothers: Floyd “Sonny” and Edwin, her sisters: Anna, Vickie, and Nancy. She will be remembered as a loving mother and mother-in-law by Debbie & Al Zientek, Mike & Dianna Jozwiak, Denise & Gary Hardin, Gerald “Joe” Jozwiak, Donna & Robin LaLanne, and Darlene & Guy Funderburke. She was a wonderful Busha to her 13 grandchildren: Eric, Curtis, Clint, Amanda, Garrett, Mikey, David, Brittany, Kelsey, Lauren, Audrey, Sarah, & Nicole and 3 great-grandchildren: Sarah, Hannah and Corbin. She is also survived by her sister Marie Laskowski. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday, August 22, 2011 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Assumption Catholic Church, 901 Rose Lane, Houston, Texas at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Rite of Committal will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Busha and JaJa are partners again, and now the pitch games really can go on forever.
