Ester Mae Bassett was born October 12, 1924 to the late Earnest and Beatrice Bassett in Pattison, Texas. She was preceded in death by her 3 sisters and 2 brothers. She was converted early in life at Roses Methodist Church. She graduated from Phyllis Wheatley High School in Houston and laterly attended TSU and Prairie View University. She married Charles Lee and to this union a son was born, David Lee (deceased). She leaves to cherish her memory 2 grandchildren, Shalon Lee & Rashad Lee; 3 sisters, Julia Rideau, Evella Paisley, Myrtle Brown; neices, nephews, family & friends.
