Ernest Edwin Walker

Ernest Edwin Walker Sr, born August 22,1939 to Lloyd Edwin Walker and Lila Faye Etter in Joplin, Missouri. He went on to his forever heavenly home on December 23,2024. He was 85 years young. He was proceeded in death by his parents, and his sister Nancy Jones.

Ernie had one son, Ernest Edwin Walker Jr and 5 stepchildren: Eva Page and George of Buna, Steve West and Tina of Temple, Jeff West and Sissy of Woodville, Bryan Cusick and Chrissy of Buna, and Laverna Woods and David of Buna. More grandchildren and great grandchildren than I can list. Ernie lived his life primary as a machinist, working mostly in the aircraft industry. When he retired, he spent his free time in his wood crafting shop. He enjoyed building toys, cars, and just about anything that you can create with wood. He also enjoyed talking about his old Navy days and watching Army Navy games with his friends.

A visitation for Ernest will be held Monday, January 13, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A funeral service will occur Monday, January 13, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A committal service will occur Monday, January 13, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
