She was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Erma Jean was born November 10, 1933 in Buffalo, OK to James Carl and Fern Baker.
She met and married the love of her life James H. Tucker in 1953. Together they had four children Russell Dean, Steven Wayne, Stanley James and Sandra Kay. The Tucker family set up residence in Houston, TX in 1953.

The Tucker family will receive visitors Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 1 pm to 2 pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home in Houston. A service celebrating life will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 2pm in the Colonial chapel of Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home with Pastor Don Barrick officiating.
