Eric Alan Look

Eric Alan Look, son of Robert William and Jewel Jordy Look, passed away June 6th, 2024 after bravely battling cancer. Eric is survived and grieved by his brother Jeffrey Look and sister, Carrie Look, cousins Jackie Sparks and Don Look, and a multitude of friends who stood by him until the end.

He graduated from the University of Houston remaining in the Houston area until his work took him to Florida. Eric loved Florida, his boat and the ocean. He was a certified Scuba Diver who found joy in the beauty of underwater life.

Eric returned to Houston to be with his family. He was a beloved and active member of the Houston Masonic Lodge #1189, elevating himself to Master Mason in a short period of time.

He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, tinkering, wood working, welding, and machining. He was an engineer at heart and mind who relished fixing things and solving problems. He valued hanging out with his Lovett or Leave It Lounge group of friends. He cherished his Jeep Club family and off-roading with his Jeep, Lucy. Every year for 10 years, Eric volunteered with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo serving on the Horspitality and Chute Committees among others.

We will miss Eric more than we can say. We’ve heard from friends all over the country telling us how much he meant to them. Eric was a man who never hesitated to help friends or strangers and he will be remembered for a long time.

Funeral services will be held this Saturday, June 15 at 10:00 a.m. at LifeBrook Church, 1822 W. 18th St, Houston 77008. Graveside services follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. Donations to the Star of Hope Mission in lieu of flowers would be appreciated. Please feel free to dress casually.
