Curtis Emmett Redman, 74, was born September 24, 1940, and passed away May 02, 2015. He grew up in Kemah, Texas and graduated from Clear Lake High School then spent his later years in Conroe and Kingwood. Emmett grew up with a love for all things beautiful, particularly music and acting. He had such an eye for things of beauty, from art to books to flowers to his favorite Klipsch speakers to family antiques to music he had composed over the years. He attended the Houston conservatory of Music and received his degree in music from The University of Houston. His professional career included performing piano concerts when traveling with Van Cliburn and Hilton Sutton. He was the best Uncle Emmett in the world to his nephews and nieces. He treated us all as though we were his kids. He was ever present at every birthday, graduation, Easter, Christmas, wedding, sporting event, and many more special times in our lives. He truly loved us in such a wonderful way that we will always be so grateful for. Emmett is preceded in death by his parents, Pauline Idell Caywood Redman and Curtis Clarence Redman. Mr. Redman is survived by his brother, Dr Paul Clark Redman and his sister-in-law, Molly Ann Brady Redman ; sister, Janet Idell Redman Hayne and brother-in-law, Robert H Hayne; niece, Mary Elizabeth Redman Poston and her husband, Matthew, and their daughter, Vivian Ruth; nephew Dr Paul C Redman, II, and his sons, Paul Clark III, Michael Aubrey, Nikolas Anatoly, and Andrew Patrick; nephew David Curtis Redman and his wife, Melissa Kathleen, and their daughters, Katelyn Elizabeth and Hailey Lauren; nephew Dr John Loren Redman and his wife, Janna Ruth, and their sons, Joshua Loren and Jeremiah Oliver; nephew Travis Henry Hayne; nephew Scott Curtis Hayne and his wife, Jamie Elizabeth, their son Elijah Scott, and a precious one on the way. He also left behind many other beloved relatives. His gentle, loving soul and musical laughter will be missed by all who knew and loved him. We have the peace in Christ our Lord that our sweet Uncle Emmett is home with Grandma and Grandpa and that in His time we will all meet once again in His Glory.
