From the day Emmanuel was born he showed us what a true fighter he was. At birth, doctors didn't give him much chance to live, but Emmanuel proved that God has the last word. As his health improved the doctors and nurses had no explanations as to how he pulled through other than He is a Miracle Baby! Emmanuel's life was filled with many doctor appointments along with physical, occupational and speech therapies but he always took it like a champ!
Emmanuel was always the center of attention everywhere he went and enjoyed every minute of it, he especially loved all the extra attention that family and friends expressed. He was a big cuddler and loved to cuddle and be held by his Mom, Dad and sisters.
We thank God for allowing us the privilege of six wonderful and unforgettable years with our Gordo, because of him our family is stronger in faith and life.
Emmanuel is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Gilbert Valero Senior and brother, Gilbert Valero III.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Abigail Brizuela and Gilbert Valero Jr.; sisters, Mia and Elena Valero; maternal grandparents, Tomas Brizuela and Altagracia Brizuela Maria SanMiguel. He also leaves behind numerous aunts and uncles, Ana and John Canales, Jennifer SanMiguel and Phillip Sandoval, Felipe and Alicia Alvarado, Lourdes and Danilo Aragon, Juan Carlos Alvarado, Valerie and Natalierose Valero, Carmen Nava and Tim Nava, Analisa and Scott Witzke, Melissa Hernandez and many cousins.
Special thanks to family, friends and to all medical personnel involved with Emmanuel's care.
Emmanuel will always be missed. He'll remain forever in our hearts as our Little Gordito.
