Emma Cortez

Emma worked for some years as a migrant worker with her husband following the crop seasons and as a Housekeeper for families in the Houston area. She then became a Manager for a Building Maintenance Service company for the larger portion of her employment, spanning over a 30 year period from which she would retired from. She was also an active member of St. Theresa Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband Apolonio “Frank” Cortez.

She is survived by her children: Francisco “Frannie”, John, Evaristo “Buddy”, Robert, Rosalva and husband Peter, Yolanda, and Aida and husband David; her grandchildren: Jeremiah, Ashley, Henry, Amber and husband Alex, Alan, Jordan, Dustin and wife Chloe, Carmen and husband Keith, Jessica, Christopher and Taylor; her great grandchildren: Kalista, Ella and Aiden; her cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
