Emilie Julia Koudelka

She was born December 20, 1913 to Joseph and Emily Petrvalsky in Oakland, Texas.

Mrs. Koudelka was a devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Theresa Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters, KJZT Lodge #32, and the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxillary. Emilie cherished her Lord and her family above all else.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, George T. Koudelka, Sr., son, George T. Koudelka, Jr., granddaughter, Cynthia Koudelka, five sisters, and one brother. She is survived by two sons, Leon Koudelka, Ron Koudelka and wife, Sharon, one sister, Martha Bayer and husband, Al, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation for Mrs. Koudelka will be Thursday, November 4, 2010 from 6-8 pm with the Rosary at 7 pm at Pat H. Foley Funeral Directors. The Funeral Mass will be Friday, November 5, 2010 at 11 am at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 6622 Haskell Street. Interment will immediately follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale.
