Elzie "Shane" Edwin Carpenter Jr., of Houston, Texas, passed away on March 19, 2021.
He was born in Wellsville, Ohio on February 21,1949, the son of Elzie Carpenter Sr. and Katherine Carpenter.
Shane served in the Air Force. In Des Moines, Iowa he served as a police officer. He moved to Houston and worked as a Bounty Hunter for 20 years. Shane was also passionate about coaching little league football.
Preceding him in death are his parents and his sister Helen Pullie. He is survived by his wife, Judy Baxter; daughter, Courtney Payton; step-son, Clifford; step-daughter, Tessa; and eight grandchildren.
At a later date there will be an inurnment for Shane at the Houston National Cemetery.
