Eloy Elizondo, age 48, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020 after a courageous battle with colon cancer. Eloy was born September 23, 1971, in Houston, Texas, to Ermilo and Araceli (Alvarez) Elizondo.
After working in the business field for several years he realized his calling was in the medical field and became a Licensed Vocational Nurse to dedicate his life to helping patients.
He enjoyed cooking smoked briskets, playing poker, fishing, and hanging out with family and friends.
Eloy is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Diana Leal-Elizondo; son, Aaron Christopher and daughter, Isabella Nicole. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother Ermilo, Jr. (Ruth) Elizondo; and sisters, Araceli (Reyes) Leal; Yolanda Elizondo; Veronica (Gilbert) Sanchez; and Elma (George) Morales; father and mother-in-law, Pedro and Maria (Chapa) Leal; brother-in-law, Sergio (Marica) Leal; sister-in-law Aida (Frank) Valdez, and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Nora (Leal) Martinez.
