Elmer Loyd Banes

Loyd loved the Lord, his family and traveling with his beautiful wife. He will truly be missed by all.

Loyd is survived by his wife, Doris Banes; sons, Elmer Loyd Banes Jr. and wife Sandra, James William Banes and wife Carmen, daughter-in-law Bonnie Banes: grandchildren, Daniel and Emily Banes, Kevin and Janet Banes, Jimmy and Amy Banes, Steven Banes, Eddie and Brenna Banes, Jason and Rachel Banes, Kelly and Richard Malinowski, Louie Jr. and Diana Banes, Kimberly Banes, Wesley Banes, nineteen great-grandchildren and sisters Ruth Henry, Patricia Ansley, Faye Reneau, and Bonnie Jamison.

Son Louie Lavon Banes died Tuesday, February 13, 2018.

Loyd was preceded in death by parents, Elmer Gordon Banes and Pearlie Lavonna Rice.

A visitation for Loyd will be held Thursday, February 15, 2018, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Brookside Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 16, 2018, at 10:00 am at Northeast Houston Baptist Church, 18000 W Lake Houston Parkway, Humble, Texas, 77346. A committal service will occur at Brookside Memorial Park.
