Elizabeth Marie Rose

Our beloved daughter and sister, Elizabeth Marie Rose, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2023. She was born on December 29, 1966 in Omaha, Nebraska. Her family moved to Katy, Texas in 1982. She graduated from Katy Taylor High School in 1985. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1989 with a degree in Advertising.

Elizabeth’s passion was in fashion design and merchandising. She was employed by Stanley Korshak and Neiman Marcus in Dallas and by Tootsie’s and Saks Fifth Avenue in Houston. At Saks, she was the Brand Ambassador for Ralph Lauren - which involved frequent buying trips to New York City. Elizabeth loved her family, her friends and her beloved cat, Fred.

Elizabeth is survived by her parents, John and Diana Rose of Houston, her sister Laura Rose of New York, New York and brothers Mike Rose and Scott Rose, her sisters-in law Joanna Rose and Cristina Rose, nephews Johnny Rose, Patrick Rose, and Scotty Rose, and nieces Anne Marie Rose and Nicole Rose, all of Houston.

Elizabeth’s funeral Mass will be held on June 16th at 10:30 AM at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, located at 11720 Joan-of-Arc Drive in Houston. An offsite reception will be held after the Mass. Her interment at Memorial Oaks Cemetery will be attended by her family.
