Elisa was a God Fearing woman who knew her bible well. She would attend Biblical Meeting regularly and knew how to live life to the fullest.
Elisa was a very jovial lady. She had a green thumb and she loved to plant flowers. She also had a fondness for pets and would enjoy taking care of them regularly. She was the loving wife of the late Isadore Miranda. Although she had no children of her own she loved kids. She took care of five boys in her lifetime Craig, Neal, Brian, and Matthew. She also took care of Gabriela, Gabrielz, Michael, Ana, Sara and Graciela. She was a very good homemaker, she cooked meals like salmon patties, meatloaf, macaroni and cheese, Mexican dishes and the best of all spaghetti. But she loves cooking breakfast, like sunny side eggs and beans and bacon and biscuits.
Elisa loved traveling especially road trips to Mexico. She love the music, poncho’s and Jose Jose, Luis Mageul and Emmanuel and El Piruli. She loved to dress in the fashions, and she loved her family in Mexico she always kept in touch with family members in México and she loved Houston, Texas as her new Hometown. She saw Houston grow from the 1950 all the way to the present.
Elisa loved films like Dr. Zhirago and other classic films. She was always ready to help anyone in need. She had knowledge in botany and she knew what supplemental vitamins to take. Elisa also knew financial Economics and she was always well informed of world events.
We will celebrate Elisa's life on Monday, March 23, 2020 with the Visitation beginning at 1:00 pm. The Service will begin at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home and the committal service immediately following at 3:00 pm at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Dr., Houston, Texas 77077.
