Elisa V. Gonzalez, age 86, passed away on October 13, 2014 in Pasadena, TX. She was born in Mexico on January 1, 1928. She is preceded in death by Armando, her husband of 39 years. She is survived by her children, Maria Olga Ortiz & husband Juan, Armando Gonzalez & wife Carolina, Abel Gonzalez & wife Aracely, Eloiza Diosdado & husband Ruben, and Dr. Alfredo Gonzalez & wife Maria Dolores. Elisa is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Armando and Elisa owned and managed Gonzalez Grocery for a number of years. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 5pm - 9pm, with a rosary starting at 7pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 7539 Avenue K, Houston, TX 77012, at 10am on Friday, October 17, 2014, with interment immediately following.
