Elida Aleman

Elida Aleman was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world on July 16, 2023 at age 81 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones.

She was born to Jacinto and Antonia Valenzuela on February 1, 1942 in El Rancho Palmar, Municipality of Cruillas, Tamaulipas, Mexico. She met her husband, Ricardo Aleman in the Summer of 1960 at one of the many dances in the area. They fell in love and were married 5 years later on September 12, 1965. Elida was a stay at home Mom her “whole career”, as she would say. She is survived by her five children, Ramona Flores, Mary Aleman, Nora Cepeda, Richard Aleman, and Cynthia Aleman, her 13 grandchildren, Jennifer Orozco, Stephanie Flores, Jorge Santana, Lydia Sifuentes, Jazmyne Parker, Angela Cabral, Chantal Carreon, Natalie Cepeda, Isabella Aleman, Lucas Aleman, Freddy Cruz, Emmry Castillo, Everly Castillo, and her 11 great-grandchildren, Jaylah Orozco, Kaylee Orozco, Roman Ruan, Gianni Sifuentes, Madeleine Sifuentes, Ella Sifuentes, Audrey Cabral, Efren Cabral, Emiliano Cabral, Camila Carreon, and Hernan Carreon Jr.

Elida loved spending time outside with her many plants, 2 white doves, 3 dogs, and her cherished parrot, Lorenzo. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren would gather around the kitchen table and living room for every special occasion. Having a full house is what truly made her the happiest.

Serving as pallbearers are Richard Aleman , Roberto Cepeda, Jorge Santana, Freddy Cruz, Gianni Sifuentes and Lucas Aleman.

A Elida le encantaba pasar tiempo al aire libre con sus muchas plantas, 2 palomas blancas, 3 perros y su querido loro, Lorenzo. Sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos se reunían alrededor de la mesa de la cocina y la sala de estar para cada ocasión especial. Tener una casa llena es lo que realmente la hizo más feliz.
