Eli I call you family because ever since I was 9 and met your sisters I met everyone else along with you but you Eli you were contagious your humor brought everyone together your light and energy was extremely bright as much as your will to live and experience life all that was taken from you in the blink of an eye by one who people would call a trusted parent yet no safety regards were given to you that night no consideration, no empathy, no justice was had for you and yet that fills me up with despair because it wasn’t supposed to go like this you were supposed to be in 7th grade making it halfway through the semester with still high hopes to take care of your family one day financially and loving one another along with your cat meow meow with your mother by your side but can’t continue your life but suddenly the world stopped the evening I got that text from your sister I lost my sanity because once it was confirmed my mind raced with guiltiness, rage, despair, yearn, disappointment and above all I was filled with the epitome of sadness seeing you lie there in that casket was the worst day of my entire existence. One boy who I loved and called my own brother was laying in front of me not saying anything just there I had no words seeing your family with tears knowing they’ll have this pain forever was more than I could bear and I to share it but less I grew up with you I used to tuck you into bed. We used to bond and laugh and do everything together with your siblings now it’ll ever be the same not one conversation will be brought up without speaking of you . I have no words tonight my heart is filled with grief one day I’m fine the next I’m sobbing of the remembrance of you not ever ever ever coming back and it tears me into pieces I can’t see you grow up like I said I would I can’t ever see you excel into a beautiful soul I knew you were I won’t ever see you smile, laugh, breathe unless I look back on old videos and pictures for that’s all I have of you now..RIP

Eli My Baby, I Have Yet To come to the acceptance that you are no longer here . I look at your name on my leg and the baby monkey right under it from when you were a baby.  No matter how good I think my day is going to go your smile pops in my head and I break down. I never cried so much to where tears no longer fell, I listen to the little voice messages you use to send me, I reread our messages all the time. This is my first real time speaking since you passed and it hurts my soul . I’ll kry you a river if you could just swim back to me . He was really a great joyful person i loved him with all my heart and i dont know why he had to go so soon. He was always smiling and had the cutest laugh. He always made me smile and we would laugh around in class while the teacher would be giving instructions we always got separated but nothing kept us from laughing and being happy. I really wish i could go back in time and tell him how much he meant to me and how much i really loved him. Rest in peace Eli i love you so much prayers to your family.

He always had the biggest smile on his face. I remember when he would play with my brothers and I would have to get onto them about arguing. I remember when he grew older and sweeter and defended his siblings. I remember when he defended my brother against his own siblings. He had a heart of gold and I am so heartbroken that he’s gone.
