Elgree Stoot received a formal education in Midland Texas, and attended HLC and Texas Southern University in Houston Texas.
She is Preceded in death by Wanda Jackson-Brown (mother), Richard Brown (father), John Stoot (husband), and two brothers.
She is survived by two daughters: Debra Henson, Becky Bellamy, two sons: Dougan "Duke" Caruthers, Eric Caruthers, eleven grandchildren: Adrian Henson, Fallon Allen,Reginald Allen, Tamela Bellamy, Andre Bellamy, Dougan Bernard Caruthers II, Eric Williams, Angela Williams, Kyle Caruthers, Sasha Caruthers, Kainnen Caruthers,four great grandchildren: Nathaniel Robinson, Kennedi Bell, Bailey Jones, Addison Williams, along with a host of cousins and her dearest friend Ms. Autrey Dunlap.
A visitation will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM.
