Elena Mia Vazquez, was born on December 14, 2001 in Houston,Texas. Elena grew up alongside her two older sisters, Sophia and Rachel, and her twin brother Jorge. Elena was an incredibly smart, responsible, mature, wise, old soul who loved and excelled in many hobbies and interests. As a young girl, Elena found her love for baking which stretched well into her young adult years baking sweet treats for family and friends on numerous occasions. Elena also had an interest in photography and art as she loved taking pictures and editing them for her photography projects. She was also an excellent artist. Elena loved and excelled in drawing and painting self portraits of herself as well as others. Elena also followed in her sister’s footsteps and participated in color guard for her freshman year of high school before finding her love of wrestling which she continued in college. Her love for wrestling landed her a scholarship at Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas where she attended, created many friendships, and touched many peoples lives. It was here when Elena crossed paths with the love of her life and soulmate, Brian Anthony Anderson. Together, they wrestled, lived, loved, laughed, and created everlasting memories. Elena left a mark on every single person that crossed her path, always putting others before herself, and being a dependable friend when others were in need. Elena will always be remembered as the talented, creative, loving, beautiful soul that she was, touching countless lives in those who had the privilege to meet her.
Elena leaves behind her mother: Claudia Salas; father: Jorge Vazquez; Siblings: Twin brother Jorge Alonso Vazquez, Sophia Menchaca, Rachel Menchaca, Adan Vazquez and Ileana Vazquez; nephews: Allan Prieto, Mark Prieto, and Nathaniel Rojas; grandparents: her beloved Francisca Galarza, Noe Patena, Manuel Vazquez and Olga Vazquez. Elena also leaves behind her beloved pets, Luna, Nina, Malia, and her youngest bird baby Hunter.
