Eleazar graduated from Edinburg High School in Edinburg, Texas.

He graduated from Pan American University in Edinburg, Texas.

He was married to Maria Teresita Parras on April 3, 1964.

Eleazar had a carreer as a Senior Freight Inspector for Southern Pacific Railroad.

Eleazar honorably served 4 years in the US Air Force where he received his degree as a Crypt Analysts

He is survived by his Wife-Maria Teresita Pena. Daughters-Irma Y. Treviño, & Lilian E. Peña. Sons-Ruben A.Peña & Alberto E. Peña. Grand Children-Jesse F. Peña, Joshua E. Peña, Jerry L. Treviño, Charles A. Treviño, Victor G. Peña, Jonathan E. Perez, Cyan L. Cadriel, & Ramiro D. Cadriel. Great Grand Children- Jescie M. Peña, Stella R. Peña. & Alexandria R. Peña

A visitation for Eleazar will be held Monday, September 20, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Monday, September 20, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home with the committal service to follow at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, TX 77038.
