Eisa first came to the United States in 1962 in hopes of a better life for himself. He ran several successful businesses and after marrying in Ramallah in 1973 he brought his wife over and started their family. He treasured his family and embraced every moment with his daughters and grandson.
Eisa is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nahil Khawaja; his daughters Rania Shunnarah and her husband, Boulos Shunnarah; and Lana Khawaja and her husband, Gary Fulghum; as well as his grandchild Nicholas Shunnarah. He is also survived by his sisters: Sumaya Kawaja, Siham Kawaja; and brothers: Fuad Kawaja and Hussam Kawaja.
Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am on Friday, August 20, 2021, at St. George Orthodox Christian Church, 5311 Mercer St., Houston, Texas 77005. Trisagion Prayers of Mercy and Funeral Service will follow at 11:00am at St. George Orthodox Christian Church. Interment will follow at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
Eisa will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. May his memory be eternal.
