Efthymia Koytra Anagnostopoulos

Effie Anagnostopoulos, a devoted mother, cherished step-grandmother, loving sister, and loyal friend, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2025, at the age of 56. Born on June 12, 1968, in the beautiful town of Elateia, Greece, Effie carried her heritage and the warmth of her homeland with her throughout her life.

Effie was a radiant spirit—full of life, laughter, and wisdom. To know her was to love her. Her sense of humor could brighten the darkest day, and her playful, joking nature left a lasting impression on everyone she met. But beyond the laughter, Effie was a pillar of strength and grace—always ready with comforting words, a listening ear, and a heart full of kindness.

She leaves behind her beloved daughter Eleni, who was her pride and joy; her dear sisters Katerina and Anna; and her loving mother Eleni, whose bond with Effie was unbreakable. She is also survived by her stepdaughter Angie, along with Angie’s husband Ivan and their children, Dimitri and Rayne, who brought her so much happiness. Effie was preceded in death by her devoted husband, John, whom she loved deeply and missed every day.

Though Effie has left this world, her vibrant spirit, generous heart, and the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in all of us. Her memory is a blessing we will carry forever.
