Edwin received his GED. He met Ann Allee May in Houston, Texas and married on March 7, 2007. Edwin worked as a boilermaker for 50 years. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Iron Ship Builders, Blacksmiths, Forgers, and Helpers Lodge #132, and he had a passion for spending time with his family.
Edwin was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, son, and friend. He loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed working outdoors. When he bought his place in Centerville, he used an axe to cut and clear the trees and he dug post holes by hand. He enjoyed gardening. He said hard work keeps him young and in shape. He believed in prosperity by the sweat of his brow. He loved nature and taking care of the land in Centerville. He loved people, he enjoyed helping others. He would help anyone even without them asking and ask for nothing in return. He never met a stranger. He was an honest, loving, and hardworking man who lived life to the fullest with no regrets. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
