Edwin’s main love was his family. He worked at Central Freight Lines with 38 Years of safe driving. He was a member of The 32 Degree Mason with Spring Masonic Lodge #1174.
Edwin is predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Arlin Frost Long and brother, Glen Long.
Edwin is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Beverly Long; daughter, Rebecca and husband Layne DeMoss; son, Gary and wife Traci Long; grandchildren, Lucky and wife Meg, Maegan and husband Anthony, Ryan and wife Emily, Marshall, Dylan and 3 great grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 9am to 11am at Brookside Funeral Home Champions. A Funeral Service will be held at 11am. The Graveside Service is to follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The Life Line Ministry at First Methodist Downtown.
