He was born in Airville, Texas to parents Homer and Birdie Stephenson on May 29, 1941.
Edward graduated from Rogers High School and later went on to attend The University of Houston where he received his Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering.
He married the love of his life, Charliene Stephenson on January 15, 1966, just celebrating 53 beautiful years together.
Edward had a career as a Civil Project Engineer for Dow Chemical. He always had a passion for his family and nothing came first other than them. He is survived by his Wife Charliene Stephenson, his daughter Michele Cunningham, his son Shawn Stephenson, and his only grandchild Chase Cunningham which he was so proud of, and his sister Glenda Pechal.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Edward’s honor on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Grand Chapel of Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home located at 13102 North Freeway Houston, Texas 77060.
