Edward Osei

Edward passed away from this life the night of March 1st 2010 after a short illness. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family, friends and caregivers during the last days of his life. Edward was born in Akwatia Line Kumasi, Ghana but lived in Accra since he was seven years old.

Edward attended Koforidua Secondary Technical School were he studied Science. He further his education at KNUST where he graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering 1999. He worked for Valco after graduation. In 2003, he migrated to the United States to further his education. He earned a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School of Mines in 2005.

Edward worked as a Reservoir Engineer with Schlumberger till his last days.

Edward is survived by his wife, Naomi Agyemfrah Osei; and three children, Jeffrey, Jayden and Madeleine Osei. Edward is also survived by his brother, John Osei; and six sisters, Cecilia Oppong, Veronica Osei Cobbinah, Isabella Osei Cobbinah, Juliana Osei Cobbinah, Sophia Osei Cobbinah, and Mary Osei Cobbinah. He was preceded in death by his father, Frances Osei Cobbinah and mother, Monica Fremah.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 27th at 10:00 AM at Pecan Grove Baptist Church, 1727 FM 359, Richmond, Texas 77406-1271.
