Edward Eugene Luckie

Ed had a career in social work, for Fresenius Kidney Care, Golden Creek Healthcare and Rehabilitation of Navasota, Texas Health & Human Services Commission, Vitas Hospice, and Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center. He was a member of The National Association of Social Workers and had a passion for travel, history, trivia, books, and art.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen Timothy Luckie and Susan Powell Luckie; his brother, Dan Luckie.

He is survived by his wife, Caren Zentner Luckie; his daughter, Sara Luckie; sister, Katherine Luckie Shea; aunt and uncle, Brenda and Raymond Luckie; niece, Stephanie Luckie; cousins: Clayton Luckie and his family, Kimberly Luckie Myrick and her family, Michael Patton, Frank Patton, and Lucy Patton.

A visitation for Edward will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077. A funeral service will follow, starting at 2:00 PM.
