Edward Arthur Gonzalez

Our beloved, Edward Arthur Gonzalez, loving father of Jessica Gonzalez Raba, Michelle Leanne Conway and Samantha Erin Gonzalez, made his transition on the afternoon of July 12, 2023 in Houston, TX.

Born on November 22, 1956 in North Hollywood, California to Robert Tavarez Gonzalez and Raquel Marina Almeida, Edward passed at the age of 66 after a long illness. He was a dear brother of Eugene Almeida Gonzalez, and Roberta Irene Gonzalez; a cherished grandfather to Cora James Raba, Darryn Rose Raba, Wyatt James Conway, and Baylor Rhodes Conway; and a much loved relative and friend of too many to mention.

He is preceded in death by his father Robert Tavarez Gonzalez. He is now at peace in Heaven — rooting on his Bruins and Dodgers from up above, waiting for the fish to bite — and on Saturday July 29th, 2023 10 a.m. at St. Peter Claver Church 2380 Stow St. Simi Valley, CA we celebrate the love, laughter, and joy Edward’s memory will bring to us for comfort in the years ahead. To honor Eddie, the family kindly request wearing a touch of blue.

The family of Edward Gonzalez wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Houston Hospice.
