Edward Raymond Chambers was born on February 3rd 1941 to Mary Elizabeth and Grover Chambers. Eddie, as his family tenderly called him, was a very light hearted, loving individual who never came across a stranger and was truly passionate about savoring every moment of his life. The Lord called him home on Sunday, January 3rd 2021, at the age of 79.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary Elizabeth and Grover Chambers as well as his brother, Earl Chambers. A devoted family man, he is survived by his wife of 54 years Charlotte Chambers and his daughters, Michelle Schafer (William) and Lawanna Maddux (Gary). His heavy absence is also felt by his siblings Wesley Chambers (Brenda) and Betty Jo Cochran. He leaves big boots to fill in the hearts of all his grandchildren and great grandchildren who lovingly referred to him as Paw Paw. He will forever be dearly missed by his grandchildren William Schafer (Holly), Savannah Smith, Gretchen Jackson (Brandon), David Schafer (Herlinda) and Nathan Smith. His memory will remain alive with the youngest generation of great grand-children Isabella Schafer, Bradly Smith and McKenna Schafer.
