Edna Mae Hudson peacefully went to be with her lord and savior on August12, 2017. She lived a blessed 85 years. Born on May 11, 1932 in Timpson, Texas to Maurine Moore and Johnny Wingo. Edna Mae was the olest of 2 sisters, Quintine Wingo and Josepine Dixon. She lived the earlier part of her life in Nacogdoches, Texas then later moved to Houston, Texas. In Houston she met and married Ben Hudson and that union spanned 50 years She was the Mother of 4 children, 3 boys and 1 girl. Edna Mae joined True Light Missionary Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. She was a faithful and active member for 40 plus years. She served in several capacities such as Sunday School teacher, Mission 1 , Bible Band and Mission Movement. Edna Mae worked for Houston Independent School District as Foud Service Manager at Clinton Park Elementary. After years of dedicated service she retired.
