Edna graduated from Simpson High School. She met Joseph A. Davis in Shreveport, Louisiana and they were married on December 19, 1964. Edna worked as an administrative assistant at KPMG Peat Marwick until her retirement. She was member of the Church of Humble.
Edna is preceded in death by her husband: Joseph A. Davis; parents: Amos & Edna Owens; siblings: Buford A. Owens, Margaret North, Herman Owens, Aline Saunier, Rev. Daulton Owens, Rev. Douglas Owens, Rev. Bruce Owens, Doris Craighead.
Left to cherish her loving memory, sisters: LaVonne Pugh, Wanda Owens, Marlene Davis & husband Butch; brother in law: Billy Craighead; sister in law: Gayle Wilson. Edna loved, and was loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation for family and friends will begin at 9am on Thursday, April 25, 2024 with the funeral service beginning promptly at 9:30am at Brookside Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Houston National Cemetery at 11am.
