Edith was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband Preston Goad, and son Preston Earl (Bubba) Goad. She is survived by brothers Wayne and Roy, sister Ruby; daughters Debbie Hinojosa and Cheryl Critton; son in-laws Greg Critton and Raul Hinojosa; Grandchildren Chris Pearson, Cliff Pearson, Danielle Pearson, Jessica Tiger, Ryan Strong, Zachary Hinojosa, and Shai Diehl, plus ten great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Edith was born in Camden, TX, raised in Corrigan, TX, and passed away October 22nd in Houston, TX. She worked multiple positions and retired from Kroger. She was an encourager and always had a sweet smile and kind word for everyone. Edith loved plants, country music, playing games with family and friends, and going to the casino.
