Eddie graduated from McArthur High School. He met his future wife Margarita Cavazos in Santiago Nuevo Leon Mexico during his cousins wedding and married her on May 8, 1988. Eddie was a very hard working man; he worked as a Chemical Process Supervisor for over 35 years in the petrochemical industry, was a great trainer and was always appreciated/loved by his coworkers and friends. He was very passionate for being out in the field and enjoying country life, he loved to go out fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his father Julio Uribe and his oldest brother Curtis Uribe.
He is survived by his beloved wife Margarita Uribe; son Eddie Uribie Jr.; daughter Theresita Uribe; mother Olivia Uribe; brother Freddie Uribe; sister Blanche Tarwater; daughter in law Jaione Romero; grandchildren Santiago Uribe and Leyre Uribe; nephews Isaac Uribe and Justin Tarwater; nieces Naomi Uribe Gomez, Kristie Uribe, Christina Uribe, and Jennifer Uribe.
Serving as pallbearers are Eddie Uribe Jr., Freddie Uribe, Isaac Uribe, Allan Tarwater, Justin Tarwater, Adrian Uribe, Carlos Cavazos, and Marcelino Cavazos.
A visitation for Eddie will be held Friday, January 6, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home. A rosary service will occur Friday, January 6, 2023 at 7:00 PM. A mass of christian burial will occur Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 10:00 AM. A burial will occur Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
