Eddie Hue Bolton

Eddie Hue Bolton was Born to Farris Roney (Bolton) and Kinnard L. Bolton in Daingerfeld, TX. Eddie spent his youth in deep East Texas where he learned the core values of hard work and education. Eddie attended JJ Rhodes Sr. High School and was a standout athlete. After graduating in 1968 he furthered his education by attending Prairie View A&M University where he later pledged the Alpha Phi Omega Social Fraternity.

In 1971, Eddie was united in Holy Matrimony to Verna Bolton for 31 years where she preceded him in death. To this union, three beautiful children were born. After her untimely death, he met and married Chyres.

Eddie was a member of Shady Grove Baptist church where he was a devoted usher. Eddie worked at Fleming Foods where he retired after 30 years. After retiring from Fleming he worked for the City of Houston where he fully retired in 2012. He spent his retirement traveling and going on cruises with his wife Chyres, and spending time with his family.

Eddie was preceded in death by Mother Farris, Daddy Kinnard, his wife Verna, his son Randy, his brothers, Peter (Tina), Grover (Mickey), Sisters, Audrey (David), Rita (Howard), Magdalena (Lee), Vernita (Will), Pracynthia (Willie) Bonita (Edward). Eddie is survived by his wife Chyres, kids Tyrone (Tracy), and Brandy (Waymond) Sisters Renee (Don Senior) Evelina (Gary), Brother Thomas (Marie), Grand-kids Nino, Alexis, Aaliyah, Edmund, Avion, Ayanna, and Moya, Great grandkids Saniyah, Iverson, Amir, Romii, Kash, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Eddie's visitation will be held on May 11, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at Paradise Paradise Funeral Home Chapel located at 10401 W. Montgomery Rd. Houston, Texas 77088. Services will immediately follow at 2:30 p.m. The committal will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024 at Shady Grove Cemetery in Cason Texas at 2 p.m.
