Eberechukwu Emmanuela Nwojo was born on August 17, 1983, in Imo State, Nigeria, to Dr. Emmanuel Alozie and Ebere Alozie. She passed away on January 10, 2025. The eldest of five siblings, she cherished her role as a twin sister to Uchechukwu Kusmierz. She is survived by her siblings: Uche Kusmierz, Emmanuel Alozie, Nnanna Alozie, and Amechi Anthony Alozie.
Ebere was a beloved aunt to Gisele Kusmierz, Adele Kusmierz, Noelle Alozie, Ayden Alozie, Chloe Chilaka, Christopher Chilaka, Oluchi Nwojo, Kelechi Nwojo, Amarachi Nwojo, Zara Nwojo, Zoe Nwojo, and Zadie Nwojo. She is also survived by her in-laws: Irek Kusmierz, Alayne Alozie, Mary Chilaka, Iheanyi Chilaka, Macaulay Nwojo, Elizabeth Nwojo, Michael Nwojo, Ola Nwojo, and Zacharia Nwojo, as well as her mother- and father-in-law, Rebecca Nwojo and Dr. Samuel Nwojo.
She was preceded in death by Pa Boniface Nwalozie Amah, Sir Raphael Ogbonna Nwaiwu, Madam Esther Nwaiwu, and Nneoma Agatha Nwalozie Amah.
Ebere grew up in Jefferson City, Missouri, where she attended Jefferson City High School before earning her degree from Lincoln University. She went on to complete her Master of Business Administration at William Woods University.
On March 7, 2020, Ebere married Dr. Raphael Nwojo, an ENT specialist, and together they had two sons, Raphael Nwojo Jr. and Samuel Nwojo. Ebere was the office manager for her husband’s ENT practice and brought warmth, intelligence, and efficiency to her role.
Ebere was deeply devoted to her faith and loved sharing God’s message with everyone she met. She had a gift for uplifting others through inspirational quotes, kind words, and prayer. She enjoyed spending quality time with her husband and children, traveling, capturing memories through photography, exploring diverse cuisines, and listening to and advising friends. She found joy in teaching her son how to read, taking him on mother-son dates, embarking on road trips, and listening to worship music.
Ebere was a radiant soul with an infectious smile and a heart full of love. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She was a remarkable wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, and her legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
