Earline Vaughn was born on March 8, 1933 in Jefferson, Texas to the late Claiborne and Addie Smith. Later in life, she was raised by the late Kenneth Freeman and Addie Freeman. Earline accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age under the leadership of the late E. J. Craven and the late Otis G. Myles at Mount Mariah Baptist Church. She was also a member of Heriones of Jerecho – Shining Beauty Court 319. Earline was a graduate of Phyliss Wheatley High School.
She married her childhood sweetheart, the late Louis Vaughn, Jr. on December 24, 1953 and remained married for 56 years. To this union six children were born. Proceeding her in death, her sisters; Betty Joe Myles (Doyle Myles), Laura Wade (Nathan Wade), and Ella Faye Stowers (Edgar Stowers). Her sons; Ronald Joe Vaughn and Louis Renard Vaughn Sr. (the late Tammie Vaughn). Her grandsons; Louis Renard Vaughn Jr. and Troy Jermaine Vaughn.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Her children; Russell Vaughn (Sharon), Mae Ola Vaughn, Sandra Vaughn (Archie), Terry Vaughn (Arleen) and daughter-in-law Stephanie Vaughn. Her grandchildren; Romithea Stallworth (Jerome), Tamika Nellum (Elycon), Shannon Vaughn, Crystal Vaughn (Timothy), Tracy Young (Josephius) and Tyffany Smith (Roderick) and Bradford Vaughn. Her great-grandchildren: Shandera Vaughn, Terrance Tutt, Cassidy Tutt, Jaxon Vaughn, Trenton Vaughn, Malik Vaughn, Talian Vaughn, Tyler Vaughn, Alaiha Stingley, Roderick Smith and Zariah Smith. Her sister Mildred Myles (the late John R. Myles) and foster sister Edith Lee. Her special nephew Nathan Wade (Barbara) and a host of other relatives and many, many friends
