Earline Ruth Rodgers McAndrew passed away November 5, 2018 at the age of 90. She was born to Buel and Erma Rodgers in the town of Lexington Texas on September 27, 1928. Earline was preceeded in death by her parents, brother Charlie Rodgers, sister Audrey Crawford, her husband William Senter McAndrew, and their oldest child- son William Senter McAndrew Jr. Widowed after 34 years of marriage and raising 5 children she relocated to Houston to be closer to her mother and sister. She then began volunteering at Bayshore Hospital and Hobby Airport wanting to return the kindness of strangers shown to her when her husband passed suddenly on a vacation in Tennessee. She blossomed into her new found, well deserved, single time spending countless hours at her most favorite pastime playing the one armed bandit at Luxor Casino in Las Vegas. She also enjoyed traveling and took her entire family, children as well as grandchildren, on several cruises and other vacations. Another one of her loves was The Dallas Cowboys. Some of her favorite players were Troy Aikman, Tony Romo and even T.O., Terrell Owens. However when her son “Billy Mac”, always the tease, gave her a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader calendar for Christmas one year she proclaimed “Those girls must not have any mothers!” to which he replied “Can we adopt them?”. The ever bargain hunter, clipping coupons and searching the dented can aisle at Kroger, she gave her children many countless laughs. She will be greatly missed by her children, Sharon Hatten, Charles Robert McAndrew and wife Debbie, Jon Scot McAndrew, Shannon Rocha and husband Tony. “Nannie” adored her grandchildren Elisabeth Bornman and husband Donnie, Chris Hatten and wife Allie, Jessica Rocha, Kelly Dail and husband Micah, Matt McAndrew, Megan Harwood and husband Nick, T.J. Rocha and wife Merilee, Kristy McAndrew, Sophia McAndrew, and Symone McAndrew. She also adored her great grandchildren, Shelby Henderson, Sera Jump, Amelia Hatten, Norah Hatten, Riley Dail, and Delilah McAndrew. Pallbearers will be Tony Rocha, Chris Hatten, Nick Harwood, Micah Dail, Matt McAndrew, and T.J. Rocha.
