Mr. Warner was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Vena Cosby Warner. He is survived by son, Steve Warner and wife, Jacalyn; daughter, Janet Warner, and grandchildren, Camille and Caroline Ashby.
Mr. Warner served his country proudly in the Navy during World War II. He worked for the Straus Company for 65 years and was a committeeman for Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for over 30 years.
There will be a memorial service for Mr. Warner at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home.
