My big brother Earl,
I love you so much, what a life journey we have shared together!  
I believe we were alot alike both good and bad. I just hope my 'good' will be as 'good' as yours.
 I will continue this journey with you in my heart and take all that you have shown me and learn from it.

Earl Jay was the most wonderful son a mother could be blessed with. I will miss all the wonderful moments we shared Gods word and going to church together.At family gatherings we looked to Earl Jay to lead us in prayer,songs and thanksgiving which helped keep christion love flowing in our family.  
I find comfort in knowing to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord for those who are in Christ.

Dear brother Earl Jay,
I miss you so much already! I tried to prepare myself for this day but theres no way I could have imagined the hurt.  As your son Nathan said you were such a great man with a pure heart! If I could love the way you loved I would be blessed. Because when you love unconditionally, you receive so much in return. I know you knew how much I loved you but I wish I could tell you one more time. 
Our family isn't going to be the same without you but we will carry on and the love we all share will get us through this almost unbearable loss.

I will always remember Earl as a happy, friendly, and giving person. I can still hear him singing in his garage or whistling as he did his yard work. My heart goes out to Aaron and Nathan. Stay strong by knowing this is just a temporary good bye. Y'all are in my thoughts and prayers, as well as the rest of your family.

I worked with Earl for over 20 years at the University of Houston.  He worked in the Paint Shop and I worked in the Carpenter Shop.  We both loved to read books and we shared many a volume through the years.  After I retired from the UH I lost touch with Earl.  He was a good man.  He will be missed.

I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear of Earl's passing..!  You are all in my thoughts and prayers, and know that I am here for you.  I'm  so sorry I just found out today (Friday) so did not make it over to his funeral today.

When I think of Earl Jay I see his smiling eyes. My prayers are with all of his family. I know he will be missed very much. Peace of Christ be with all of you.

I cannot begin to imagine the pain of loss within the heart of such a wonderful family as the Milsaps.  But I am filled with the hope and faith that EJ is now in the arms of Jesus...he flew to Jesus and now lives in peace.  You know my prayers are with you all left behind on earth. I didn't know Earl well, but he was always very kind and supportive of me. I wished I had made the time and effort to have gotten to know him better. I myself will miss him. To his family my sincere condolences, you all will be in my prayers.
